- Lease-options give you the opportunity to buy the house before the lease is up
- A lease-purchase, or rent to own homes agreement, legally binds you to purchasing the homes once the lease is up
The main difference is one is a requirement and the other is a choice.
Do I need a realtor to rent to own?
No, you do not need a realtor. Psalms is a property management company with a Real Esate License.
How long can I rent for?
A rent to own homes with Psalms Property Management is typically between 12 and 36 months. The goal is to save up credit with the homeowner that will serve as your down payment. This means that even if you cannot qualify for a mortgage you can start paying towards a home purchase.

Who pays for repairs?
Typically the renter does. The benefit of using Psalms Property Management is to help negotiate the best agreement between you and the seller. We can also assist with maintenance issues at a set price for rentals
Can I use my Voucher
Psalms Properties accept, and value a voucher as income for rent to own homes or home rentals. Keep in mind that each applicant still needs to meet qualifications.
